Cops investigating stories of counterfeit notes in Newport have appealed for native companies to be vigilant.
Seven stories had been acquired on Monday 15th June of fake £20 being used at shops in Newport.
A 37-year-old man and a 33-year-old girl, each from Newport, had been arrested on suspicion of utilizing counterfeit cash. They’ve each been launched from custody however stay beneath investigation.
